Please refresh your browser every few minutes to see the most recent updates, which will appear at the top of the page.

    1. Kate McDonald, Australia, 14.333

    2. Ellie Black, Canada, 13.900

    3. Emily Roper, Wales, 13.666

    4. Rachel Yeoh Li Wen, Malaysia, 13.533

    5. Shantae-Eve Amankwaah, England, 13.233

    6. Alana Walker, Jamaica, 12.533

    7. Jemima Taylor, Wales, 11.766

    8. Ruby Pass, Australia, 11.666

11:05 am. Ruby Pass AUS UB: Weiler to Weiler half with slight leg separation to Maloney to Tkachev, low and can’t catch it. Back on for a Pak, good van Leeuwen, toe full with minor adjustments, to double tuck, good landing. 11.666 (4.5, 7.166)

11:03 am. Ellie Black CAN UB: Maloney to Shang with some leg separation, connects that to a Pak, Shaposh to clear hip half to Ezhova, good! Clean van Leeuwen. Blind full in a great handstand position, tucked toe front half is STUCK! 13.900 (5.9, 8.000)

11:00 am. Jemima Taylor WAL UB: Toe-on to stalder full, some hip form especially coming out of it, Pak, Maloney to clean Gienger but she’s too low and can’t catch it. Blind change to front giant half to full-in, some form and a bit short, step. 11.766 (5.1, 6.666)

I just went into a team meeting lmao so excuse me if I miss anything in the next 20 or so minutes.

10:57 am. Kate McDonald AUS UB: Leaving her headphones on until 0.0001 second before mounting the bars is so funny, girl same. Hop change to Weiler half to Maloney to clear hip full, GREAT position. Massive Tkachev into a clean Pak. Short handstand before the van Leeuwen, which is clean. Toe full was a bit rushed, but gets it to the full-in with a hop. 14.333 (6.0, 8.333)

That moves her into the lead! And I would be SHOCKED if anyone could surpass that.

10:54 am. Warmups for the second half!

10:50 am. Emily Roper WAL UB: Toe full was very clean, to Chow to Pak to van Leeuwen, all GORGEOUS. Looked like she hit her feet on the low bar on a giant, gets a straddle Jaeger, and sticks the full-in cold, feet apart, but WOW WOW WOW! 13.666 (5.4, 8.266)

10:49 am. Alana Walker JAM UB: Hop change to piked Jaeger, good! A little short before the Church to Pak, but the releases are great. Good van Leeuwen, some leg separation, blind full and a double layout, deep in that landing, steps forward out of it. 12.533 (5.2, 7.333)

10:46 am. Rachel Yeoh Li Wen MAS UB: Endo to Endo half to Chow to Pak, SUPERB. Maloney to lovely Gienger, minor leg separation. Blind full, sticks the full-in at first, needs to step out of it but sneakily does it into the salute. 13.533 (5.7, 7.833)

TOO LOOOOOW. Give her a 10.

10:43 am. Shantae-Eve Amankwaah ENG UB: Endo to Endo half to Downie, lovely. Doesn’t connect to the Pak, but that on its own looks nice. Stalder full is a bit late. Nice on the van Leeuwen. Good handstand before the stalder half to double front, clean with a big step back. 13.233 (5.7, 7.533)

10:39 am. Touch for the first half is underway!

10:38 am. Jemima Taylor going into the uneven bars final in place of Ruby Evans (they actually had the same score of 13.3 but Evans won the tie-break, I think this swap makes sense for Wales to give Evans a little break).

10:36 am. Athlete introductions happening now!

10:29 am. Should be moving to introductions for the women competing in the uneven bars final any second now!

    1. Jordan Carroll, Canada, 15.000

    2. Reuben Ward, Scotland, 14.966

    3. Cameron Lynn, Scotland, 13.833

    4. Ritam Malik, Australia, 13.333

    5. Marios Georgiou, Cyprus, 13.100

    6. Rhys McClenaghan, Northern Ireland, 13.000

    7. Jesse Moore, Australia, 12.833

    8. Adam Tobin, England, 12.066

10:24 am. Ritam Malik AUS PH: Scissors to circles on both pommels, then to a Sohn, lovely. Circles on the single handle, followed by Russians on it, back to circles, travels well, seamless into the dismount though he comes up a bit short in the pirouette before landing. 13.333 (4.8, 8.533)

10:21 am. Rhys McClenaghan NIR PH: Scissors with some leg form going into the circle after, travels in Russians then Russians at the end, great transition to the single pommel, circles then three Russians on the single pommel, moves to the other pommel for a clean Sohn, Russians between the pommels, his hips are a bit low and brushing the pommels but no issues, travels well, legs get WILD while traveling in Russians after, WOW, he somehow made it through that?!?! And gets into the dismount. He’s not happy but he didn’t fall and that matters here. 13.000 (5.2, 7.800)

He’s submitted an inquiry for his D score there.

10:19 am. Cameron Lynn SCO PH: Scissors to circles, good swing in the single pommel circles, Sohn goes well, Russians also good, mostly good hip form throughout, Russians at the end of the horse, then travels in Russians, a minor push up to get into the dismount but this was great overall! 13.833 (5.3, 8.533)

10:16 am. Adam Tobin ENG PH: Scissor to handstand, down to circles, moves to the single pommel for circles and Sohn, goes a bit awry after but nothing bad, brings it back under control, Russians on the single pommel, travels well, then in Russians, OOF, he missed his thumb it looked like while circling on the single pommel and his hand slipped, fall. Back on for the dismount. Ugh, so close. 12.066 (5.0, 7.066)

10:13 am. Touch for the second half underway!

10:10 am. Reuben Ward SCO PH: Scissors gowell, Russians on the single pommel hit, circles on the same pommel well, travels forward and backward without issue, travels in Russians, oop, he’s crushing it, brilliant up into the pirouette for the dismount, EXCELLENT! 14.966 (5.7, 9.266)

    OH MY GODDDDDD.

10:07 am. Jordan Carroll CAN PH: Scissors through to circles on both pommels, lovely Sohn, mostly great extension, Russian on the single pommel, another one-arm swing, circles on the single pommel, wide-arm Russian travels, then more travels in Russians, minor leg separation but overall fabulous, slight adjustments in the pirouette during the dismount sequence but gets through it super well! 15.000 (6.0, 9.000)!!!

Oh, that’s going to be pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to beat.

10:05 am. Marios Georgiou CYP PH: Scissors to handstand down to scissors, circles on both pommels, legs come apart on the Sohn and again on the single pommel Russians. Good fight to get through both! Travels well, loses his hip form on the final circles into the dismount but somehow gets through that as well and rushes up into the dismount. 13.100 (5.4, 7.700)

10:02 am. Jesse Moore AUS PH: Scissors to circles to flairs, moving really well through them, good extension, and transitions well into the circles. Unfortunately legs come apart during the Russians on the single pommel and he can’t fight through it, fall. Back on for circles on the single pommel, down to travel, which goes well, and good into the dismount. 12.833 (5.1, 7.733)

10:01 am. Touch should be just wrapping up.

9:57 am. Athletes are being introduced for the pommel horse final!

9:21 am. Time for medal ceremonies now! It looks like 3 pm local time, which is 10 am my time, is the go-time for the next set of finals so will see you back then!

    1. Lia Monica Fontaine, Canada, 14.000

    2. Abigail Martin, England, 13.799

    3. Abigail Roper, Wales, 13.433

    4. Emily Roper, Wales, 13.283

    5. Courtney McGregor, New Zealand, 13.183

    6. Georgia Godwin, Australia, 13.116

    7. Protistha Samanta, India, 12.883

    8. Ruby Stacey, England, 12.000

9:14 am. Courtney McGregor NZL VT: Excellent Yurchenko 1.5! Her best of the competition in terms of how it looks the air so far I think. Knee form just looks a bit tighter, though still some bend. Lots of power, big hop forward. 13.266 (4.6, 8.666)

Yurchenko half-on front pike half, leg form was a bit wild onto and off of the table in terms of separations, hop back to control it. 12.700

    13.183 average (+0.2 B).

9:10 am. Georgia Godwin AUS VT: Big Tsuk 1.5, soft knees throughout, but overall really strong in the air. Big hop to the side fully OOB though. 13.100 (4.8, 8.600, -0.3 ND)

Next up is a handspring front pike half, pretty solid! Slightly soft knees. Chest is horizontal to the floor but feet barely move, a tiny bounce kind of in place. 12.733 (4.0, 8.733)

    13.116 average (+0.2 B).

9:07 am. Emily Roper WAL VT: Yurchenko full, some pike in her hips as she gets close to the landing, hop back. 13.100 (4.2, 8.900)

The second vault for Emily is a nice Yurchenko half-on front layout half! More leg form than her first vault, both in terms of bends and separation, but her chest position is pretty good on the landing I think? Hop back and she’s off to the side, OOB. 13.066 (4.8, 8.566, -0.3)

    13.283 average (+0.2 B).

9:04 am. Protistha Samanta IND VT: Tsuk layout full, lots of form in the knees, pikes down quite a bit, and lands very short with her chest down. 12.700 (4.4, 8.300)

Handspring front pike half, REALLY nice in this one! Good landing, just a small step back. Shape looked good in the air, minor knee form at one point. 12.666 (4.0, 8.666)

    12.883 average (+0.2 B).

9:01 am. Touch for the second half is underway!

8:57 am. Lia Monica Fontaine CAN VT: Yurchenko double full, massive, gorgeous, almost stuck. Small bounce in place and her chest is slightly forward, but this was next-level compared to everything we’ve seen so far. 14.000 (5.0, 9.000)

Next up is a Yurchenko half-on front layout half, gorgeous again, medium hop back but her form is so so so good. 13.600 (4.8, 8.800)

    14.000 average (+0.2 B).

8:54 am. Ruby Stacey ENG VT: Only does a Yurchenko full today! It looked a lot cleaner than the 1.5 has. VERY clean tbh. Almost flares the landing. Big hop back and OOB. 12.700 (4.2, 8.600, -0.1 ND)

Goes for a Yurchenko half-on front tuck and sits it. Looked nice, just landed it too far back on her heels. 11.300 (3.8, 7.500)

    12.000 average.

8:51 am. Abigail Martin ENG VT: Yurchenko double full, looked a bit better than it did in the all-around comp yesterday. Just more power and control, and the twisting looks a lot cleaner?! Still some crossed ankles in the second twist though. 13.766 (5.0, 8.766)

She follows that up with a Yurchenko half-on front layout half, really excellent block, mostly nice in the air, almost flares it before landing, big hop back. 13.433 (4.8, 8.633)

    13.799 average (+0.2 B).

8:47 am. Abigail Roper WAL VT: Yurchenko double full. And it’s really nice! Some soft knees in the second twist and she has a hop back, but overall this is strong. 13.766 (5.0, 8.766)

Second vault is a Yurchenko half-on front tuck half which looked very strong. 12.700 (4.0, 8.700)

    13.433 average (+0.2 B).

8:42 am. Athletes are here! Let’s gooooooooo. Touch about to be underway.

8:38 am. Should be getting the introductions for the WAG vault competitors in a minute!

    1. Luke Whitehouse, England, 14.566

    6. Reuben Ward, Scotland, 12.900

    7. Joshua Nathan, England, 12.766

    8. Muhammad Sharul Aimy, Malaysia, 12.566

8:33 am. Joshua Nathan ENG FX: Double front, hop forward. Front double full, minor form, big step forward. Good double full, hops his heels together. 2.5 to front layout, leg form in the layout and a hop forward. Double pike, chest a bit forward and a hop back. 12.766 (4.8, 7.966)

8:30 am. Daniel McLean RSA FX: All I wanted from quals was for this guy to make this final. I’m so happy! Beautiful randi down the side. Clean double front, small hop. Front double full, small hop. Lovely double full down the side. Double pike, small hop. Bouncy in his landings today which will hurt him, but still nice work. 12.933 (4.5, 8.433)

8:27 am. René Cournoyer CAN FX: Front full to a lovely piked double front, small bounce. 2.5 to front layout, another tiny hop. Russians and Japanese press. Double double, some leg form right before landing and he’s a little short there but not bad. Lil Y scale because Y not! Full-in with a small bounce. 13.966 (5.1, 8.866)

8:23 am. Luke Whitehouse ENG FX: Big triple back, tiny bounce. Front double full to double front, sticks it! Punch randi, some form in the air, hop to the side. Piked double front, small hop to the side. Triple full down the side, some ankle form. Double double, chest a little low and a small hop but this will be big! 14.566 (6.1, 8.466)

8:21 am. Touch for the second half is underway!

8:17 am. Reuben Ward SCO FX: Great front double full to double front! Punches into a randi and sticks it. Triple full down the side, small hop back. 2.5 to front layout. Oh no, goes for a double pike in the last pass, lands it a bit short, and the floor launches him wildly up into the airIand lays it flat out on the ground. OOF. He laughs about it. 12.900 (5.3, 7.900, -0.3)

8:12 am. Félix Dolci CAN FX: Stuck the front full to piked double front! 2.5 to double front, noooo, comes out a little short from the 2.5 and sits the latter. Triple full down the side, hop. Japanese press. Stuck the double double. Leans a little in the Y scale. Clean, flared, stuck double pike. Another near-perfect set marred by one pass that went awry. 13.233 (5.3, 7.833, +0.1 B)

8:09 am. James Hardy AUS FX: Front full to double front, step forward OOB. Piked double front with a hop forward. Clean stuck double full down the side. Japanese press. Y scale goes well. Beautiful 2.5 to stuck front layout! Arabian double front with a tiny hop forward. Mostly gorgeous work! 13.433 (5.0, 8.633, -0.2 ND)

He’s filing an inquiry on his D score to challenge his penalty. We’ll see if anything changes! Nope, they keep both penalty tenths in his score. I don’t know where the second one came from!

8:07 am. Muhammad Sharul Aimy MAS FX: Clean in the front full to double front, but comes up slightly short on his heels and sits it. Front double full to front layout goes well. 2.5 down the side, stuck. Russians. 1.5 down the side, easy, clean, and stuck. Arabian double front, also stuck. what-it-does/” title=”Ubersuggest Is Now Inside ChatGPT. Here's What It Does”>WHAT a routine, the first pass is even more devastating now! 12.566 (4.8, 7.666, +0.1 B)

8:03 am. Touch warmups are underway!

8:00 am. Here come the athlete introductions!

7:57 am. The broadcast has started! Woooo!

I have a meeting at 11 am and I can’t wait to pretend I’m paying attention.

7:54 am. The broadcast is set to start in about two minutes, and then athlete introductions likely right at 8 am ET, followed by touch warmups. My guess for a start with this smaller field today is action at 8:05 am ET?

We’re starting with MAG floor, followed by WAG vault, then two medal ceremonies, then pommels, uneven bars, and rings should start around 10 am ET.
