The sign says “Thank you for visiting Hecht Trailers & Truck Accessories.” While this statement was made for people leaving after shopping for a trailer, it now takes on a deeper meaning as the facility is closing for good

For approximately 100 years, Hecht Trailers has been in business. It has a location at the corner of Route 9 and Cox Cro Road, in a tight triangle of land between those two busy highways. To put in perspective how much land the family has invested in, there’s also a “Hecht Road” to the south of the property. The other business location was in Mount Holly.

Attempts to reach the company were unsuccessful. The front page of their website was taken down recently.

“They were very good people,” manager Al Brehme said of the Hecht family. “Very fair, very generous.” Family members were active in non<a href="https://learnearningfun.com/these-5-side-hustle-businesses-keep-costs-low-and-profits-high-2/” title=”These 5 Side-Hustle Businesses Keep Costs Low and Profits High”>profits. Jean Hecht, the second generation in the business, was a leader in the Rotary Club.

The store and showroom was the place to go if you were a landscaper or a contractor that relied on your vehicles.

AJ Willner Auctions performed timed online auctions of remaining inventory.
